Following the success of "Beautiful Woman Riding the Waves," YeaH1 and MangoTV have agreed to a comprehensive strategic partnership in the production and distribution of high-quality content.
At the Hong Kong International Film & Television Fair (Filmart) on the morning of March 12th, Ms. Le Phuong Thao - Chairwoman of YeaH1 and Mr. Truong Chi Hong - Chief Financial Officer of MangoTV - successfully completed the signing ceremony. This event marks a new phase of strong and extensive cooperation between the two corporations in all aspects – from script transfer, original content creation expertise, production and management processes, to training and talent development.

Mr. Truong Chi Hong stated that he was impressed with the appeal of the 2023 Vietnamese version of the "Beautiful Sister " program, and therefore, they decided to expand their cooperation with YeaH1 to bring the two businesses to a larger scale, focusing on the three game shows for which they have purchased the rights: "Super Mom," "Beautiful Sister Riding the Waves," and " Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles ."
In her speech, Ms. Phuong Thao expressed her honor at being chosen by MangoTV as a comprehensive strategic partner in the new phase and noted that YeaH1 is always actively innovating and steadfastly promoting high-quality content across multiple platforms.
"This event will open up a series of great opportunities for YeaH1, especially receiving the transfer of high-quality, large-scale content production capabilities from MangoTV - a leading company in China. We believe the cooperation will bring tremendous results, injecting new vitality into the development of both businesses, and bringing viewers a series of more attractive programs," Ms. Phuong Thao said.
YeaH1 is one of the leading companies in the media and content production sector in Vietnam, and the first media company to be listed on the Vietnamese stock exchange (HOSE: YEG).
Specifically, three programs – Super Mom, Beautiful Sister Riding the Waves , and Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles – will air during the "Prime Time" slot on VTV3. The two corporations will also further strengthen their comprehensive cooperation, including building the Mango Fun Time broadcast slot on Vietnamese television channels and bringing a series of special game shows to YeaH1 and Mango TV.
Last year, the two sides collaborated on the production and broadcast of "Beautiful Sisters Riding the Waves ," with MangoTV transferring the original format and expertise in producing popular entertainment shows in China. The show garnered nearly 700 million views across multiple platforms; over 6 billion views measured from related hashtags; ranked first in ratings on VTV3; was the top trending topic on social media; and was nominated in the top 3 for the WeChoice "TV Show of the Year" category. "Beautiful Sisters " also won the "Most Impressive Entertainment Program" award at the VTV Awards 2023.
