Zalo July: Transfer money in messages, compose text by voice

As the most popular messaging app in Vietnam with 77.8 million monthly active users, Zalo always strives to improve to better serve users.

In the July update, Zalo has had many upgrades, the most notable of which is the cooperation with Vietcombank to help transfer money right in messages, launch the humorous "Bu mat ngao" sticker set and improve the artificial intelligence model, helping to compose messages by voice more accurately.

More than 20 major banks offer SMS money transfer services

Zalo has just completed integrating the money transfer service in messages with Vietcombank. Thanks to that, users can transfer money quickly and safely without having to remember or copy the recipient's account number. The transaction will be processed on the linked banking application.

Currently, there are about 20 banks - accounting for more than 87% of market coverage - officially cooperating and providing this service on Zalo to bring convenience to users. This list includes many big names such as Vietcombank, VietinBank, BIDV , MB, Techcombank, VPBank, TPBank, Sacombank, MSB, HDBank...

Steps to use:

Step 1: Click transfer from account information in Zalo message.

Step 2: Check recipient information, enter amount and select transfer bank.

Step 3: Confirm information and proceed with the transfer on your banking application.

Compose voice messages more accurately with the improved version

In this version, Zalo continues to upgrade the artificial intelligence model, helping to compose text messages by voice (AI Dictation) more accurately. This feature is convenient for busy people who often travel and have difficulty typing on the phone screen.

Step 1: Go to “Chat” section.

Step 2: Click on the “Microphone” icon.

Step 3: Select “Send as text”.

Step 4: Click to record.

Step 5: Send the message.
