On the afternoon of May 29, the Department of Health of Lam Dong province said that in the area of Son Dien commune, Di Linh district, there had been a case of food poisoning due to eating wild mushrooms, of which 5 people had to be hospitalized.
Of these, 3 are still being treated at medical facilities.
Previously, on May 26, Mr. K'Bet's family (living in Son Dien commune, Di Linh district) went to the forest to collect mushrooms and distributed them to 5 other families living near each other to make food.

However, after eating 30 minutes, these people all had symptoms of chest tightness, vomiting, diarrhea, of which 2 had symptoms of convulsions.
At 20 p.m. on May 26, the poisoned people were taken to the Son Dien commune health station for examination.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Di Linh District Medical Center sent 2 ambulances, 2 doctors and 2 nurses to support and transfer the patient to the District Health Center for further treatment.

After confirming the level of poisoning, 2 patients were treated at Son Dien commune health station, 10 were taken to the emergency and treated at Di Linh District Medical Center, 2 were transferred to II Lam Hospital Copper.
Currently, the patient's health condition is stable, alert and well-contacted.
Immediately after the incident, the Department of Health of Lam Dong province directed the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-department to propagate people not to eat wild mushrooms and mushrooms of unknown origin.
