150 delegates attended the 1st Congress of Farmers' Association of Phuc Thinh Commune

HNP - On September 17, the Farmers' Association of Phuc Thinh commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 150 official delegates representing 5,974 cadres and members at 30 branches and 70 association groups in the whole commune.

Leaders of the City Farmers' Association and Phuc Thinh commune congratulated the success of the Congress.

The political report presented at the Congress highlighted the results achieved by the Farmers' Association of Phuc Thinh Commune in various fields of work, such as: Propaganda, political and ideological education for members and farmers were given attention and promoted. The content and form were associated with the application of digital transformation, diverse and rich, bringing practical results. The work of building the Association's organization continued to be consolidated, improved and improved in quality after the implementation of arrangement and consolidation according to the 2-level local government model.

Farmers' material and spiritual life has been constantly improved; average income has increased rapidly, from 55 million VND/person in 2023 to 85 million VND/person in 2024. Up to now, there are no more poor households among Farmers' Association members, and the rate of near-poor households is decreasing.

The Executive Board of the Credit Association lent 1,122 members a total of more than 75 billion VND to develop production and increase income. The movement of farmers competing in good production and business continued to develop extensively. During the past term, 80-85% of member households registered, of which 60-65% achieved the title of good production and business households at all levels. The average agricultural production value per hectare of cultivated land increased from 250 million VND/ha in 2023 to 267 million VND/ha in 2025...

Delegates voted to pass many important contents at the Congress.

In particular, farmers in Phuc Thinh commune actively develop concentrated commodity production, applying science , technology and VietGAP and organic processes into practice. The whole commune currently has more than 800 hectares of high-quality vegetable, fruit and fruit tree production areas, which are widely deployed in localities.

The One Commune One Product (OCOP) program for the 2023-2025 period has promoted products with advantages and high economic value, created valuable products, ensured jobs and income for workers, promoted restructuring of the agricultural sector, developed craft villages, and contributed significantly to the economic restructuring in the area. Up to now, the whole commune has had 63 products recognized as OCOP products.

The political report clearly identifies 5 goals, 3 breakthroughs, 12 specific targets and 5 groups of solutions for the Commune Farmers' Association to focus on implementing in the 2025-2030 term.

Officials and members of the Farmers' Association of Phuc Thinh commune were commended for their outstanding achievements in building and developing the Association's movements.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Farmers' Association on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Farmers' Association of Phuc Thinh Commune, Term I, 2025-2030. Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Association consists of 27 comrades, the Standing Committee has 9 comrades. Comrade Ngo Van Quy, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, was appointed as Chairman of the Commune Farmers' Association and 5 comrades were appointed as Vice Chairmen of the Association.
