The recent SCG Sharing The Dream 2024 scholarship award ceremonies in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City honored 200 outstanding students with a total scholarship value of 3 billion VND. For the past 17 years, the program has not only provided financial support but also encouraged young people to pursue sustainable values. The program focuses on developing sustainable thinking, leadership skills, and fostering a spirit of community contribution, creating a solid foundation for the future of young people.
To date, SCG has awarded over 5,600 scholarships totaling VND 40 billion , organized over 100 training sessions , 50 business networking events , supported 16 innovative student projects , and helped 20 young talents shine in international competitions .

SCG's "Skill Up for Life" spirit is strongly demonstrated through its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance ) strategy, which is integrated throughout the scholarship program. This is not simply a financial scholarship, but a journey to help students better understand their role in building a sustainable future. Through a series of diverse ESG practical activities, students have the opportunity to develop sustainable thinking. Over the years, SCG has organized numerous soft skills training courses, factory tours, and specialized workshops to provide comprehensive knowledge.
In 2024, the program continued its resounding success with outstanding initiatives and achievements:
ESG Ambassador 2024 Competition: Participating students presented their environmental protection initiatives to ASEAN regional experts at the ESG Symposium 2024 held in Thailand. The two winning projects, "Obstacle Warning Device for the Visually Impaired" by Team B-Wings and "Enzymes from Organic Waste" by Team Garbage Enzyme, are testaments to the creativity and strong community spirit of Vietnam's youth. This was not only an opportunity for them to broaden their horizons but also affirmed the pioneering role of Vietnam's youth in promoting sustainable development.
Factory Visit : Students gain practical experience at SCG Group's member companies in Vinh Phuc, Binh Duong, and Long An, thereby understanding how ESG strategies are applied in practice in the production and business operations of a company.
ESG Camp - a meaningful outdoor activity: Numerous environmental cleanup activities and "green" education programs were implemented, helping students gain a deeper understanding of their impact on society.

With Sharing The Dream, SCG goes beyond simply awarding scholarships; it also supports students through training camps like ESG Camps and specialized workshops, helping participants enhance their knowledge and foster a sense of community contribution.

Mr. Praween Wirotpan , Deputy Country Director of SCG in Vietnam, shared: “We believe that education is not only the most sustainable path to reducing inequality, but also the foundation for each individual to shape their own future.”
The success of the SCG Sharing The Dream program also stems from close collaboration with organizations such as the Central Youth Union Council, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center (SAC). Thanks to this collaboration, the program has not only expanded in scale but also spread a meaningful message about social responsibility and sustainable development.
Mr. Le Hai Long , Standing Committee Member, Head of the Central Youth Union's Children's Affairs Department, and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Children's Council, emphasized: "The cooperation with SCG has created great opportunities for Vietnamese students, not only in receiving scholarships but also in comprehensively developing soft skills and sustainable thinking."
