(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Based on the water level of Cua Dat Lake at 1:00 p.m. on July 24, 2025 at elevation +106.62m and forecasted weather, hydrometeorology in the lake basin. Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 3 (Board 3) announces the schedule for water discharge and regulation of Cua Dat Lake to maintain the lake water level not exceeding the highest water level before the flood as follows:

Spillway discharge time: Expected to start from 18:00 on July 24, 2025.

Total discharge downstream: Estimated from 300 m3/s to 1,500 m3/s.

End time: Until the end of the reservoir regulation operation process according to regulations.

The discharge downstream can be adjusted up or down depending on the water flow to the lake.

To ensure absolute safety for works, lives and property of the state and people in the downstream area of Cua Dat Lake. Committee 3 informs the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Disaster Prevention of Thanh Hoa province, the People's Committees of communes and wards in the downstream area, and relevant units.

Propose that leaders of agencies and units pay attention, coordinate and direct implementation.
