According to the list of VNTAX 200 - Top 200 enterprises paying the largest budget in Vietnam in 2025 (based on actual payments in 2024) just announced, most of the enterprises in the top 10 paying the largest budget in 2024 are in the State sector and FDI joint ventures, in addition, there are 2 domestic private corporations in this list.

Specifically, the minimum budget payment to be included in the general list of VNTAX 200 is 200 billion VND or more. The list announced in 2024 is compiled based on actual payment data in the fiscal year (12 months) ending at times between June 30, 2024 and March 31, 2025.

Accordingly, this list recorded 125 private enterprises paying over 1,000 billion VND to the budget. Of these, 17 companies paid over 10,000 billion VND.

The total budget contribution of 200 enterprises reached 794,000 billion VND, an increase of 109,000 billion VND compared to last year. In the Top 200, if a corporation has many parent companies - subsidiaries achieving the same ranking, only the parent company will be ranked. Therefore, many enterprises with contributions up to thousands of billions or tens of thousands of billions such as Vinhomes (a subsidiary of Vingroup ) or PVEP, BSR, PV GAS... (subsidiaries of PVN) are not on this list.

The Top 100 leading enterprises alone have contributed VND723,000 billion to the budget. There are 36 representatives of the private sector among the 100 largest enterprises. This shows that State-owned enterprises and FDI enterprises are still the units that contribute greatly to the budget revenue.

Notably, the Top 10 includes 4 State-owned corporations ( Petrovietnam , Viettel, Petrolimex and Vinacomin), 4 FDI enterprises (Heineken, Nghi Son Refinery, Toyota and Vietsovpetro) and 2 private enterprises, Vingroup and Thaco Group. Petrovietnam continues to be the largest contributor to the state budget with VND77,400 billion last year. The group’s contribution is even larger than the total contribution of the 100 enterprises ranked from 101 to 200.

Positions from 11th to 20th include some notable names such as EVN, Vinataba, TC Group, Hoa Phat, Sabeco, Vietcombank, Agribank ...

This is the second year the list has been compiled, after the first one was published a year ago. PRIVATE 100, along with VNTAX 200, is part of the CafeF Lists, honoring businesses that contribute the most to Vietnam's budget, recognizing their important role in economic development and their spirit of serving society.
