On August 19, groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for projects and works to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) will take place across the country. There will be 80 selected connection points across 34 provinces and cities with a total of 250 projects being started and inaugurated simultaneously. Of these, 4 projects in the health sector will be selected as online and direct connection points.
These are the projects: Investment project to build an Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Center and purchase medical equipment. The inauguration ceremony will be held at Thai Nguyen Central Hospital, with a scale of 120 inpatient beds, a level III project, group B, with a total investment of 153 billion VND; the project was chosen as an online bridge point.
The project to invest in the construction of the Central Maternity Hospital 2 in Kieu Phu commune, Hanoi city with a scale of 300 inpatient beds, group A, level I project, total investment of 950 billion VND and was selected as an online bridge point.
The Central Maternity Hospital's second facility is built on an area of nearly 60,000 m², of which the construction area is more than 8,400 m². The project consists of 6 floors, 1 technical floor and 1 attic, designed in a modern style, optimizing functionality, being environmentally friendly and convenient for patients. According to the plan, the hospital receives about 1,000 visits per day.
The Provincial General Hospital Project at Thai Binh Medical Center, Hung Yen Province with a capacity of 1,200 beds, planned to expand to 1,500 beds, has a total investment of 2,733 billion VND. This is the project chosen as a direct connection point.
The project to build Nghe An Oncology Hospital with a scale of 1,000 beds (including: 8-storey main building, funeral home, auxiliary works) with a total investment of 1,259 billion VND. The inauguration ceremony was chosen as the main direct connection point./.
