Also attending were comrade Le Hoang Hai, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Con Dao Special Zone.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health , in the second reinforcement (from September 29), 8 specialized doctors in the fields of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics - Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Anesthesia and Resuscitation, Neurology and Dentistry - Maxillofacial Surgery were mobilized to Con Dao, to more comprehensively meet the medical examination and treatment needs of officers, soldiers and local people.
The rotation of highly skilled specialists to support the island areas is a strategic solution, clearly demonstrating the concern of the City Party Committee and People's Committee for health care for people in the remote islands, while contributing to strengthening the professional capacity of the grassroots health sector.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc acknowledged and praised the enhanced sense of responsibility and dedication of the medical team. He emphasized that, in addition to professional duties, the work of the doctors also demonstrates the spirit of dedication and sense of serving the community of the medical staff.
The Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee asked the doctors to continue to promote their capacity and experience, and at the same time transfer techniques and provide professional support to the local medical team, helping the Con Dao Military-Civilian Medical Center to become increasingly strong and proactive in medical examination, treatment and emergency care for the people and armed forces on the island.
Notably, just a few days after receiving the assignment, the reinforced medical team coordinated with on-site doctors and nurses to successfully perform emergency surgery on a 15-year-old patient with a perforated stomach ulcer, saving the patient in critical condition. This success demonstrates the practical effectiveness of medical staff mobilization and the smooth coordination between the upper and lower levels.
