Notably, the team participating in this tournament includes many top shooters such as: Trinh Thu Vinh, Le Thi Mong Tuyen, Pham Quang Huy, Ha Minh Thanh... At the tournament, Vietnamese athletes will compete in all categories including: rifle, pistol, flying disc shooting, competing for 64 sets of medals, for the youth and elite groups.
Vietnam Shooting Team sets off for 2025 Southeast Asian Championship
In preparation for this tournament, the Shooting team's coaching board has selected the best force, which are individuals who have just competed successfully at the 2025 National Shooting Championship. The tournament in Thailand is also considered an opportunity for Vietnamese shooters to get acquainted with the shooting range and climate in Thailand, as well as have a chance to compete to evaluate opponents in the region before the 33rd SEA Games.
SEA Games 33-2025 Shooting has 16 events for shooting competitions, 6 events for shooting flying discs and 8 events for shooting applications. 44 shooters participating in the 2025 Southeast Asian Championship will have to ensure the highest results. If they cannot pass this competition, the coaching board will have to make significant adjustments to the next expertise.
It is known that the 2025 Southeast Asian Shooting Championship brings together 299 athletes from 9 countries in the Southeast Asian region such as: Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam... The tournament will officially start on October 7 and last until October 15. As soon as they arrived in Thailand, Vietnamese shooters were introduced to the shooting range to prepare for the upcoming competition days.
