The Industrial and Commercial Bank Club, led by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet, with the brilliance of Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, won an important 3-0 victory over Hung Yen team in the opening match of the second phase of the national volleyball championship.

Today (October 7) in Ninh Binh, the Industrial and Commercial Bank Club led by Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet officially won the right to enter the semi-finals of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship after a "destructive" 3-0 victory over Hung Yen team. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's "favorite" student in both the club and the national team, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, had an explosive match, contributing greatly to the victory of the Industrial and Commercial Bank team.

Before this match, the Industrial and Commercial Bank had 9 points, needing a win with a difference of 2 games (3-0 or 3-0) to officially qualify for the semi-finals. Meanwhile, the Hung Yen team (6 points) had to win to keep their chance to continue. The Industrial and Commercial Bank team with the excellence of 23-year-old player Vi Thi Nhu Quynh and foreign player Anna Belyanskaya (Russia) played well and overwhelmed the Hung Yen team which had some outstanding faces such as Nguyen Thi Uyen, Yen Nhi but played inconsistently. Foreign player Helena Grozer (Czech Republic) of the Hung Yen team also did not play as expected, so the students of coach Tran Van Giap could not surprise the Industrial and Commercial Bank team.

Today, the 2025 National Volleyball Championship continues with matches between Sanest Khanh Hoa and The Cong Tan Cang (2:30 p.m., men's tournament), Duc Giang Chemicals and Thanh Hoa (5:30 p.m., women's tournament), and Ho Chi Minh City Police and Da Nang (8:00 p.m., men's tournament).
