(NLĐO) - Khanh Hoa province is developing 41 projects to reorganize its agencies and organizations. Among them, the province's newspapers and radio stations will be merged.

The Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department has issued công văn (official letter) No. 5768-CV/BTCTU requesting agencies and units to urgently develop proposals/submissions for the establishment, dissolution, termination of operations, merger, consolidation, and restructuring of organizational structures (hereinafter referred to as the Proposal)... and submit them to the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department before December 25, 2024, for compilation and reporting to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Steering Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Board, and the Provincial Party Committee.

Merger of media outlets

The restructuring plans/proposals will be implemented in 29 Party-affiliated agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and socio -political organizations in Khanh Hoa, and 12 restructuring plans/proposals in state-affiliated agencies.

Specifically: The Party Committees of the following agencies have ceased operations: the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Procuracy, and the Provincial People's Court of Khanh Hoa; and the Party Groups of the following agencies have also ceased operations: the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial Veterans Association, the Provincial Farmers Association, the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, and the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts.

The activities of the 5 Steering Committees (Party and mass organization development in private economic units, external information work, etc.) have concluded.

Two Party committees will be dissolved and cease operations: the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc and the Party Committee of the Provincial Enterprises Bloc.

Four agencies and organizations will be restructured, including: the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Office, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Khanh Hoa province, the Provincial Federation of Labor, and the Khanh Hoa Provincial Political School.

Merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department with the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; Merge Khanh Hoa Radio and Television Station with Khanh Hoa Newspaper.

The Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department will prepare a proposal and plan for the establishment of two new agencies: the Party Committee of the Provincial Party, Mass Organizations, People's Council, and Justice agencies; and the Party Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Government.

The Party Committees of Nha Trang University and Khanh Hoa University will be transferred from being directly under the Provincial Party Committee to being directly under the Party Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Government.

In the state sector, there will be 12 restructuring proposals/proposals.

Specifically, the plan involves merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance; the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology; the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs with the Department of Home Affairs; and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Merge the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Projects and the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation Projects. Merge the Department of Foreign Affairs into the Office of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province.
