According to the report of the Binh Thuan Provincial Statistics Office, in the first 6 months of 2024, the number of tourists visiting and relaxing in Binh Thuan is estimated at 4.58 million (up 5.01% over the same period in 2023); of which international visitors are estimated at 234 thousand (up 91.25% over the same period in 2023), mostly from Korea, China, Russia, Germany, UK, USA...

In June alone, the peak summer tourist month, Binh Thuan welcomed over 856,000 visitors, including 38,600 international visitors, with estimated revenue of nearly VND519 billion. According to the tourism industry, tourism activities in Binh Thuan province have always been bustling since the beginning of the year, especially during holidays, Tet or weekends, with the number of visitors often increasing dramatically.

The number of visitors increased compared to the same period last year due to many favorable factors such as good weather, more convenient transportation, many attractive promotional tour packages, attracting visitors to visit and travel. Meanwhile, the majority of guests staying were domestic and concentrated in the Ham Tien, Mui Ne, and Tien Thanh areas.

The highlight of tourism activities in the first 6 months of 2024 is the NovaWorld Phan Thiet area with many large-scale, modern and attractive entertainment areas, plus the province regularly holds cultural, sports and tourism activities, contributing to creating more interesting features to attract both domestic and international tourists.

In addition, Phu Quy tourist route is considered a "hot" destination, being exploited by travel agencies, designing tours and introducing to tourists towards the sea - islands, which is also a plus for the bustling tourism activities of Binh Thuan in the first 6 months of the year.
