62 martial arts students take the national Taekwondo promotion exam.

On the morning of May 24th, at the Provincial Gymnasium, the Thai Nguyen Taekwondo Federation, in coordination with the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation, organized the 2026 National Taekwondo Rank Promotion Examination.

The exam is an opportunity to assess the quality of training at Taekwondo clubs in the province.

Sixty-two martial arts students from Taekwondo clubs in the wards and communes participated in the exam . Of these, 42 students were taking the exam for 1st Dan; 13 students for 2nd Dan; and 7 students for 3rd Dan.

To be promoted to a higher rank, martial arts students must participate in examinations such as: basic techniques, forms, sparring, self-defense, breaking techniques, and duels… in accordance with the current regulations of the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation. The examinations are conducted seriously and in accordance with the regulations.

The competition aims to assess the quality of training at Taekwondo clubs in the province , while also creating a beneficial platform for young people to interact, learn, and cultivate willpower, physical fitness, and a chivalrous spirit .

This also serves as a basis for discovering and nurturing promising athletes for the Thai Nguyen provincial Taekwondo team, contributing to the further development of the Taekwondo movement.
