The Prime Minister had a packed schedule of nearly 24 hours in Tianjin, including attending and speaking at many important sessions, and having substantive, effective, and open exchanges with leaders of countries, international organizations, and leading global corporations.

Notable events included meetings with WEF Chairman Klaus Schwab, the Prime Ministers of New Zealand, Barbarossa, and Mongolia, the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), and numerous business leaders, especially at the Vietnam-WEF National Strategic Dialogue on the theme "Promoting New Growth Drivers to Build the Future of the Country" .

According to Minister Bui Thanh Son, the participation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the WEF Tianjin Conference was highly significant and yielded many important results, clearly demonstrated as follows:

Firstly, the Prime Minister shared many effective, practical, and timely perspectives, approaches, and directions, stemming from Vietnam's practical experience, to promote global economic growth. The six "headwinds," which are also the six main causes of the global economic downturn, and the six proposed solutions presented by the Prime Minister were widely shared by leaders of other countries and the business community.

The Prime Minister's message on the three fundamental elements for economic development – ensuring peace, stability, solidarity, and international cooperation; a global, people-to-people, and comprehensive approach; and especially unlocking resources, promoting growth drivers, and maximizing the potential of small and medium-sized enterprises – was highly appreciated and became a highly unified direction at this year's WEF conference.

Secondly, the Prime Minister's participation has further contributed to the substantive promotion of relations between Vietnam and the WEF. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the period 2023-2026, focusing on feasible areas such as innovation, green transformation, green finance, and digital transformation, has laid the foundation for strengthening bilateral relations in the new phase.

With this significant result, the WEF will further strengthen cooperation and support Vietnam in policy advice and capacity building to adapt to new development trends, assisting ministries, sectors, and localities in issues of practical benefit such as smart agriculture, developing industrial clusters towards net-zero emissions, and establishing a Fourth Industrial Revolution center in Vietnam…

The Prime Minister's meetings with leaders of other countries at the Conference also contributed to further deepening relations between Vietnam and Mongolia, New Zealand, and Babados, especially in areas with great potential such as economics, trade, and tourism.

Thirdly , Vietnam's participation in the Conference, with numerous open and cordial meetings and exchanges between the Prime Minister and leaders of leading corporations, contributed to further conveying to the global business community the achievements, potential, strengths, goals, and development directions of Vietnam.

This is a valuable opportunity for foreign businesses to gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam's policies, investment environment, and overall strategy, thereby strengthening their confidence and boosting investment and business activities in Vietnam.

"It is gratifying that in all exchanges, Vietnam has always been presented as one of the fastest-growing economies, a dynamic and innovative economy with ever-increasing scale and potential," the Foreign Minister said.
