70 young men from Dong Hoa ward volunteered to enlist in the army.

From October 25th to 29th, the Military Service Council of Dong Hoa ward organized preliminary health examinations for military service in 2026 for young men of eligible age.

In carrying out the recruitment and conscription of citizens into the military in 2026, the Dong Hoa Ward Military Service Council proactively reviewed and identified eligible young men, compiling a list of them in a transparent, democratic, and compliant manner.

The entire ward has 2,042 young men of eligible age for military service; after review, the Ward Military Service Council issued preliminary health examination orders to 1,130 young men.

The Dong Hoa Ward Military Service Council received volunteer enlistment applications from two young men, Nguyen Tan Phat and Tra Thong Nhat.

During the preliminary medical examination, the young men underwent general health checks by doctors and medical staff, including height, weight, chest circumference, blood pressure, and screening for other medical conditions. All citizens demonstrated good compliance with the preliminary examination process, showing a high sense of responsibility towards the task of protecting the homeland.

As a result, 70 young people have volunteered to participate in military service in 2026. These are exemplary young people with good moral character, meeting the health and educational requirements, and aspiring to train and contribute in the military environment.

It is known that in 2026, Dong Hoa ward was assigned the target of selecting and enlisting 96 citizens into the military (including 80 young men for military service and 16 citizens for police service).
