Specifically in the Duong Lang category, Truong Quang Kiet of PFC Phu Quoc could not overcome Huynh Quang Thien of Tanmonster Combat; Nguyen Huu Nghia of team 404 lost to Bui Xuan Nguyen of Lien Phong Martial Arts School after 3 difficult rounds;

Dang Quoc Quang of No.1 Muay lost by "submission" when fighting Phan Ngoc Hieu of Ha Dong MMA. Le Hoang Duc of team 404 lost to Luong Trong Nghia of MMA Saigon in the first round.

In the remaining matches in the Cobra (55kg) category, Pham Thanh Phong of No.1 Muay lost to Pham Van Hao of Dat Cang Tiger by technical choke knockout.

In the Black Panther (63kg) category, Vo Cao Tung of VCT Fight was also defeated by Pham Kim Quoc Huy of Fighter MMA Da Nang with TKO in the 23rd second of round 1.

In the Golden Rooster (57kg) category, Ly Duol of Nam An MMA only lasted 1 minute after being hit by an armbar from K-pa Thuan from SSC Club.

In the Tiger (68kg) category, Pham Anh Duc from Leo Jiujitsu had a sweet revenge against Vu Hai from Tiger MMA with a submission at 1 minute 45 seconds in the first round.

The 9th match - the closing match of GMA 04 was a victory by standard rear-naked choke of Tran Minh Nhut - Lien Phong Martial Arts School against Tran Trong Kim - PFC Phu Quoc.
