A study from Google's DORA that surveyed 5,000 professionals found that 90% are using AI at work, up 14% from last year. AI is most widely used in writing and editing code, helping to speed up the software development process.
At Google itself, most engineers have used Gemini Code Assist for programming and documentation. However, the level of trust is still low, with only 20% of programmers completely trusting the quality of code generated by AI.
About 31% admit that AI has only improved slightly, while 30% say there has been no noticeable change. The tech job market is paradoxical as opportunities for newcomers are dwindling. According to data, the number of software engineer job postings has dropped by 71% in just the past three years.
Experts say AI only replaces repetitive work, while human strategic thinking is still the key factor. Dear readers, please watch more videos : AI Trash Cleaning | Hanoi 18:00
