Acura reintroduced the Integra to the U.S. market in 2022 for the 2023 model year, but sales have been slow. Built in Ohio on the Civic platform, the premium liftback will enter 2026 with a complete refresh, aiming to improve sales here. The most notable highlight is the redesigned grille, which is already very eye-catching. Acura’s design team even created a body-colored grille option – an aesthetic decision that may be controversial. On the bright side, gloss black remains standard on most Integra models.
According to Acura, “most” of these are Integras not painted in Performance Red Pearl or Double Apex Blue Pearl. Double Apex Blue Pearl is a new option for the 2026 color palette, joining Urban Gray Pearl and Solar Silver Metallic. The body-colored grille is only available with Platinum White Pearl or Urban Gray Pearl. Customers who choose the 2026 Acura Integra A-Spec will get a new body kit and 18-inch black wheels. The A-Spec also gets extended ambient lighting. If you opt for a black interior, Acura adds yellow stitching to the door panels, steering wheel, shift knob, and seats. If you opt for an Orchid White interior, the Acura Integra A-Spec gets blue suede accents.
Regardless of trim level, the 2026 Integra gets a larger central infotainment screen. The 9-inch touchscreen, previously only available on the A-Spec with the Technology Package, is now more widely available and comes with a more powerful processor for increased performance. In addition, Acura also equips wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, combined with wireless phone charging. This 2026 Acura Integra model will be available at dealers from August 2025, still keeping the CVT transmission or 6-speed manual transmission for those who like the feeling of sporty driving. The manual transmission, paired with a front limited-slip differential, will likely remain exclusive to the Acura Integra A-Spec with the Technology Package and Type S. Other trims will continue to use the more fuel-efficient CVT. Pricing for the 2026 Integra has not been announced, and Acura has not yet revealed details about the Type S trim. The 1.5-liter, turbocharged, 4-cylinder gasoline engine on the regular Integra versions still maintains the same capacity of 200 horsepower (when using premium gasoline) at 6,000 rpm, maximum torque of 260 Nm from 1,800 to 5,000 rpm. In other words, Acura has not changed this engine.
As for the more expensive Integra Type S, it makes 320 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 310 lb-ft of torque between 2,600 and 4,000 rpm. The Integra and Integra Type S currently start at $33,000 and $52,900, respectively (excluding shipping). The most economical 2025 Integra has an average fuel consumption of 7.1 liters/100 km. If you choose a manual transmission, the average consumption is 7.8 liters/100 km. The Integra Type S consumes up to 9.8 liters/100 km according to the US Environmental Protection Agency.
