The 1st Congress of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission: Determined to build a strong, honest and modern Inspection sector

On the afternoon of July 27, the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission (IC) held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Nguyen Hong Trang, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Committees attended and directed the Congress. Attending the Congress were Comrade Tran Quang Minh, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairman of the IC; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board and all Party members in the Party Committee.

With the motto "Solidarity, innovation, democracy, discipline, comprehensiveness, efficiency", the Congress focused on evaluating and summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress of the Party Cells of the Inspection Commission of the Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang Provincial Party Committees (old) for the term 2020 - 2025.

During the 2020-2025 term, the two predecessor Party cells of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission have successfully completed the targets set out in the resolution and the tasks assigned by the superiors. The focus is on the Party's inspection, supervision, and discipline work, controlling the declaration of assets and income of cadres and Party members; controlling the declaration of assets and income has gradually become routine, making an important contribution to the work of Party building and rectification, preventing and combating corruption and negativity, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations and Party members in the entire Provincial Party Committee.

The Congress also frankly pointed out a number of limitations and shortcomings and proposed the main goals, tasks and solutions of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission for the next term. For the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee set the general goal of improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; building a united, courageous, honest and modern Inspection sector. At the same time, promote digital transformation, innovate working methods; effectively carry out inspection and supervision work throughout the entire Provincial Party Committee; build a contingent of cadres and Party members in the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission with sufficient qualities, qualifications and capacity to meet the requirements of new tasks. Every year, the subordinate Party cells and the Party Committee of the agency are evaluated and classified as having fulfilled their tasks well or better.

To successfully achieve the above goals, the Congress proposed key tasks and solutions, including strengthening Party building work; promoting the role of Party committees in leading the implementation of professional tasks and industry building work.

Speaking at the Congress, Nguyen Hong Trang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, requested that the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission continue to pay attention to leading the agency and its subordinate Party cells to concretize and organize the implementation of coordination with advisory agencies, assisting the Provincial Party Committee in preparing conditions for the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Along with that, coordinate and advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to consolidate and supplement the commune-level Inspection Committee with sufficient numbers to meet the standards. At the same time, closely coordinate in the work of evaluating personnel to participate in the Party Committee and Inspection Committee at the provincial and commune levels for the 2025-2030 term; strengthen inspection, supervision, and settlement of petitions, denunciations, and complaints related to personnel of Party Congresses at all levels, resolutely not allowing cases that do not meet the standards, opportunism, and personal gain to enter the Party Committee and Inspection Committee.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission needs to proactively preside over and coordinate in advising on the development and implementation of inspection and supervision programs and plans of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission during the term and annually; fully exercise responsibilities and authority in the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity according to Party regulations.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission proactively advised on the preparation of the Provincial Party Committee's Personnel Plan for the 2025-2030 term; continued to consolidate and strengthen the number of cadres and civil servants in the agency, improve the quality of the multi-disciplinary cadres and civil servants in different fields, meeting the increasingly demanding requirements of the current situation, due to the presence of many affiliated party organizations, large areas, and far from the administrative center of the province.

The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission continues to strengthen the application of information technology, carry out digital transformation in the inspection, supervision and Party discipline work of the Inspection Commission and agencies, and implement the Central's direction on moving towards data-based inspection and data-based supervision.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's agencies on appointing the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 9 comrades; the Standing Committee consists of 3 comrades, 1 comrade holds the position of Deputy Secretary. Comrade Tran Quang Minh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission for the 2025-2030 term.

Earlier, on the same morning, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947/July 27, 2025), the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission led by Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Tran Quang Minh offered incense and flowers at the Ho Chi Minh Temple and the Provincial Heroes and Martyrs Memorial.
