Change the name of provincial and grassroots social insurance
According to the announcement of the provincial Social Insurance, from July 21, the provincial Social Insurance agency has a new name: Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance, replacing the old name: Social Insurance Region XXIV (headquartered at No. 5, Huynh Thuc Khang Street, Nha Trang Ward). The provincial Social Insurance performs its functions, tasks and powers as prescribed in Khanh Hoa province; at the same time, directly manages agencies, units and enterprises located in the wards: Nha Trang, Nam Nha Trang, Bac Nha Trang, Tay Nha Trang and some other units under its authority.

In addition, the Social Insurance also announced the change of the names of district-level Social Insurance agencies to grassroots Social Insurance agencies under the provincial Social Insurance. Currently, the provincial Social Insurance has 13 grassroots Social Insurance units, including: Cam Ranh (Pham Hung Street, Phu Trung Residential Group, Cam Ranh Ward); Ninh Hoa (Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Group 2, Ninh Hoa Ward); Cam Lam (Tan Hai Group, Cam Lam Commune); Dien Lac (National Highway 27C, Truong Lac Village, Dien Lac Commune); Khanh Son (No. 10 Dong Da, Khanh Son Commune); Khanh Vinh (No. 68A, 2/8 Street, Khanh Vinh Commune); Van Ninh (No. 81 Dinh Tien Hoang, Van Ninh Commune); Ninh Chu (No. 338 Truong Chinh Street, Ninh Chu Ward); Ninh Phuoc (Ward 5, Ninh Phuoc Commune); Ninh Son (No. 4 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Ward 3, Ninh Son Commune); Thuan Nam (Van Lam 3 Village, Thuan Nam Commune); Thuan Bac (An Dat Village, Thuan Bac Commune); Bac Ai Dong (Ta Lu 1 village, Bac Ai Dong commune). The grassroots social insurance agencies organize the implementation of social insurance and health insurance (HI) regimes and policies; manage the collection and disbursement of social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance in 60 communes and wards.
Facilitate people and businesses
When merging administrative units according to the 2-level administrative unit model, the provincial Social Insurance has proactively and synchronously deployed many solutions to ensure smooth operations, serving people and businesses promptly and effectively. Mr. Nguyen Manh Tu - Director of the provincial Social Insurance said: To ensure the rights of social insurance and health insurance participants, the Social Insurance agency has coordinated with departments, branches and localities to continue creating conditions for people to use health insurance cards and social insurance books according to the old information, without having to carry out any additional procedures. The provincial Social Insurance also directed units to arrange officials on duty at the public administrative service center, closely coordinate with the People's Committees of communes, wards and the provincial Post Office to deploy public services, ensuring timely receipt and return of administrative procedure results to people.
Currently, people can carry out administrative procedures related to the field of social insurance and health insurance through the National Public Service Portal, the VssID application, or directly at the provincial social insurance agency and its affiliated grassroots social insurance agencies. The provincial social insurance agency will continue to improve the effectiveness of information technology application, complete the data of social insurance and health insurance participants according to the new administrative unit and promote online public services to serve people and businesses better and better.
