On May 26, the Food Safety Department ( Ministry of Health ) informed that through post-inspection of food product announcement and advertisement, it discovered that some products of N-Collagen Import Export Company Limited (District 8, Ho Chi Minh City) advertised by "Ngan Collagen" violated regulations.

Specifically, these are 2 products including apple candy to eliminate belly fat, N-collagen Chanh Plus... whose product advertisements are misleading about the product's uses, advertising the product as a medicine... The label images of these 2 products on the internet indicate that the product group is a dietary supplement.

"On the online public service software, we have not yet issued a Certificate of Product Declaration Registration and a Certificate of Advertising Content Confirmation for the products named Apple Candy for Belly Fat Removal and N-collagen Lemon Plus," informed a representative of the Food Safety Department.

"Ngan Collagen" real name is Tran Thi Bich Ngan, born in 1995 in Ca Mau . In addition to selling weight loss products on social networks and e-commerce platforms, "Ngan Collagen" also sells a number of skin care creams, melasma treatment creams, acne treatment creams, lip balms... under the brand name N-Collagen. Recently, "Ngan Collagen" reported that DJ Ngan 98's weight loss products had quality issues, and the authorities then stepped in to investigate.

"Ngan Collagen" established N-Collagen Cosmetics LLC in 2017, headquartered in Ca Mau. However, according to data from the National Business Registration Portal, this company has now been dissolved.

On media sites, Ngan is often introduced as the founder and CEO of N-Collagen Import-Export Company Limited - the exclusive distributor of "belly fat-burning apple candy".

According to the National Business Registration Portal, N-Collagen Import-Export Company Limited was established in October 2018, with an initial charter capital of 1 billion VND, and its main business line is cosmetics retail. The owner and initial legal representative is Mr. Lam Hoai Phong (born in 1980).

Notably, this company has changed its legal representative many times. After nearly a year of establishment, the company changed its legal representative to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thanh (born in 1984), then a month later, the owner and legal representative was transferred to Mr. Tran Thai Nguyen (born in 1981). Then it was Mr. Thang Quoc Em (born in 1989) and now it is Mr. Huynh Viec Nhat Tuong (born in 1998)...

In April, "Ngan Collagen" caused a stir on social media when she organized a housewarming party for a 500 billion VND villa in Cai Rang district, Can Tho city. According to "Ngan Collagen" on her personal TikTok channel, the villa was built on an area of 1,000 square meters and took 5 years to complete. She also regularly shares on social media her collection of expensive designer bags, diamonds, and expensive supercars such as Range Rover, Maybach, Porsche, etc.
