A series of outstanding science and technology products will appear at the 80th Anniversary Exhibition.

The exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), is part of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The exhibition aims to recreate the 80-year journey of contributions of the Science and Technology sector, the Post and Telecommunications sector with three pillars: Science and Technology - Innovation - Digital transformation in the cause of independence, unification, construction, protection and development of the country.

The exhibition on achievements in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation opens from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Fair Center (VEC) in Dong Anh (Photo: Ministry of Science and Technology ).

Through a modern presentation format, combining data, images, artifacts and technology, the Exhibition affirms and honors the glorious history, spirit of service, constant innovation and future aspirations of Vietnam's science and technology industry.

This is also an opportunity to inspire the younger generation, arouse national pride, faith in Vietnamese intelligence, and promote the spirit of innovation throughout society.

The exhibition is organized according to the historical flow structure, recreating the 80-year development journey of the country through the lens of Science and Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation with 1 central area and 5 content sub-areas, corresponding to 5 historical periods:

The central area is the introductory area and creates overall identity for the entire exhibition space.

Zone 1: Resistance and nation building period (1945-1954).

Zone 2: The period of liberating the South, unifying the country and building socialism in the North (1954-1975).

Zone 3: Pre-Renovation Period (1975-1986).

Zone 4: Renovation and Integration Period (1986-2025).

Zone 5: New Era (from 2025 onwards).

5 Timeline zones are designed in an open space direction, integrating diverse displays including: Books, posters, models, artifacts and typical science and technology products, combined with projection equipment, search, and digital data. The introduction and display of posters and books are integrated in each zone according to the historical content.

Information about leaders of the Science and Technology, Information and Communications (Postal, Telecommunications...) sectors through the periods and typical scientists will be designed to be visually integrated in the sub-areas and arranged with separate search points.

Some sub-zones are integrated with devices to access the national database on science and technology (vista.gov.vn) to increase interaction and spread knowledge values.

The event is expected to give the public a comprehensive view of the journey of science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, while at the same time arousing pride and aspiration to continue innovating in the digital age.

In parallel with the exhibition, the forum "Future of Science, Technology, Innovation and National Digital Transformation" will take place on the morning of August 29 at VEC.

The number of exhibits on display at the Exhibition is divided into the following fields: Science and Technology (25 exhibits), Innovation (6 exhibits), Digital Transformation (15 exhibits) and Post and Telecommunications (29 exhibits).
