Phu Tho strives to complete 100% of industrial parks with 5G waves by the end of 2025

Accordingly, the goal by the end of 2025 is to complete 100% of industrial parks with 5G waves; at least 5% of industrial clusters with 5G waves; increase at least double the number of 5G broadcasting stations compared to the present; build and select at least 2 domestic IoT technology platforms (IoT Platforms) for widespread deployment in industry to promote digital transformation and develop the digital economy in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

To achieve this goal, the province is mobilizing investment resources, especially from the telecommunications sector. According to the plan, from October to the end of December 2025, the province will build at least 28 new 5G BTS stations in industrial parks and clusters, doubling the total number of 5G stations in the area compared to the present. In addition, the province also deploys at least 2 IoT technology platforms developed by domestic telecommunications enterprises to serve the management and operation of smart industrial parks.

To ensure timely implementation, the province will create maximum favorable conditions in investment procedures, construction of 5G BTS stations in industrial parks and clusters; encourage enterprises to invest in IoT equipment and infrastructure, apply new technologies in production and management; build a set of indicators to assess the level of IoT application as a basis to support and give incentives to pioneering enterprises; promote cooperation, sharing telecommunications infrastructure between network operators, sharing infrastructure to expand 5G coverage; regularly evaluate service quality and transmission speed through the i-Speed application of the Ministry of Science and Technology . At the same time, focus on promoting the dissemination of typical models, in order to effectively replicate the implementation throughout the province.

Strong investment in 5G infrastructure, combined with a clear orientation on IoT technology application, not only helps businesses improve their competitiveness but also demonstrates the province's determination to make Phu Tho a leading locality in developing smart industry and digital economy in the midland and mountainous areas of the North.
