The Vietnamese matcha market is booming, according to Metric, from January 2024 to June 2025, matcha sales on e-commerce platforms in Vietnam reached 226.4 billion VND. iPOS's 2024 report also noted that matcha accounted for 29.6% of the most popular beverage group.
However, this is a big challenge for both businesses and consumers when the supply is unstable, still depends heavily on imports, and fluctuates in price, origin and product quality.
When the matcha market needs a professional brand
By the end of 2024, according to IPOS's report, the F&B industry recorded a slight increase of 1.8% in the number of stores compared to the same period in 2023, although more than 30,000 stores closed in the first half of the year. Despite facing many challenges, the F&B industry in Vietnam is forecast to continue to grow by 9.6% in 2025.
In that context, matcha has become a bright spot. According to iPOS, nearly 30% of F&B businesses have included matcha in their menu trends for 2024. On e-commerce platforms, in just 18 months, consumers have spent more than VND 220 billion on matcha-related products, with 2.8 million products sold.
In this context, B2B partners, from chain stores to bars, are not only interested in attractive import prices and profit margins, but also put their trust in the quality and stability of supply. This shows that the market is in need of a truly professional and capable manufacturing brand.

With a vision to anticipate trends and nearly 30 years of experience in tea, FGC has spent millions of dollars to build a modern production system imported from the land of cherry blossoms, while mastering the supply chain, strictly controlling the cultivation and harvesting of tea leaves in Japan. This is not just a simple investment but also a strategy to position Matcha Cozy products with Japanese quality standards right from the first step.
It is this seriousness and methodical approach that has helped Cozy become a prominent brand in providing matcha products in the Vietnamese market, creating a distinct competitive advantage over competitors.
Proactive supply - Matcha Cozy's advantage in the matcha powder market
In the context of rapidly increasing demand, the ability to proactively source supply is a key advantage. Cozy has solved this problem by completely mastering the supply chain, following a closed process from planting, harvesting to manufacturing finished products. This helps ensure the stability of the supply source and creates peace of mind for business partners.
Understanding customer needs, Cozy develops two specialized product lines, suitable for each purpose of use and market segment.
Matcha Cozy Barista: Produced using Japanese technology, suitable for making drinks at F&B chains and coffee shops. The product balances a light astringent taste, characteristic umami with jasmine aroma, and tastes better when combined with milk. Cozy Barista is reasonably priced, has consistent quality, is easy to make and comes in many quantities (100g, 200g, 500g). This is the optimal solution for many business models.

The product has a refreshing taste, mild astringency, sweet aftertaste and full umami flavor, this is a sophisticated choice for matcha connoisseurs.
