Google's AI Mode Impresses

On October 14, many users in Vietnam suddenly received a notification from Google, inviting them to experience AI Mode on Google Search in Vietnamese.

The feature, powered by a custom Gemini 2.5 platform, allows users to ask long, complex, or multi-layered questions that previously required multiple searches. Users simply go to Google.com, select AI Mode, and type or upload the content they want to search.

Many users rated the AI ​​Mode experience as quite impressive. Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoang (HCMC) said that when uploading a picture of a car seen on the road, after just a few seconds, Google Search correctly identified the car model, displayed the selling price in Vietnam, versions, detailed images, and also linked to the official dealer.

"Previously, I had to type the car name into the search bar and filter each page, now it only takes one operation" - Mr. Hoang compared.

Meanwhile, Ms. Tran Hong Nhung, an office worker in Hanoi, said that when she took a photo of a strange dish during her trip and uploaded it to Google AI, the system immediately recognized it as banh khot and suggested famous restaurants, along with reviews and average prices.

"This mode helps save time searching and gives more natural results, especially when combined with image or voice search. Previously, I often searched via ChatGPT, Grok or Copilot, but now searching with Google AI gives more detailed and realistic information" - Ms. Nhung commented.
