Google's AI Mode is impressive.

On October 14th, many users in Vietnam were surprised to receive a notification from Google inviting them to experience AI Mode on Google Search in Vietnamese.

This feature runs on a customized Gemini 2.5 platform, allowing users to ask long, complex, or multi-layered questions that previously required multiple searches. Users simply go to Google.com, select AI Mode, and then type or upload the content they are looking for.

Many users have rated the AI ​​Mode experience as quite impressive. Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoang (Ho Chi Minh City) said that when he uploaded a picture of a car he saw on the road, within seconds, Google Search correctly identified the car model, displayed the selling price in Vietnam, the versions, detailed images, and even linked to the official dealership.

"Previously, I had to type the car's name into the search bar and filter through each page; now, it only takes one click," Hoàng said, making a comparison.

Meanwhile, Ms. Tran Hong Nhung, an office worker in Hanoi, recounted that when she took a picture of an unfamiliar dish during a trip and uploaded it to Google AI, the system immediately recognized it as banh khot (miniature savory pancakes), and suggested famous restaurants along with reviews and average prices.

"This mode saves search time and provides more natural results, especially when combined with image or voice search. Previously, I used to search via ChatGPT, Grok, or Copilot, but now searching with Google AI yields more detailed and relevant information," commented Ms. Nhung.
