According to Dang Thi Hoa Ray, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of An Chau commune, after implementing the two-tiered local government model, the commune's administrative apparatus has been gradually strengthened and is operating stably, ensuring the effective maintenance of state management tasks and the provision of public administrative services to the people. The staff, civil servants, and workers have quickly adapted to the new working methods, demonstrating initiative and responsibility in advising and organizing the implementation of political tasks at the local level. The Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations are constantly innovating the content and methods of leadership and management to suit the new situation.
In 2025, the Party Committee of An Chau commune focused on leading and directing the comprehensive implementation of tasks and solutions for socio -economic development, achieving many positive results. The local economy continued to grow steadily, the material and spiritual lives of the people were gradually improved; national defense and security were maintained; and the political system was increasingly consolidated and strengthened. Party building and the construction of the political system were strengthened, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations were continuously improved; and the activities of the Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations saw many positive changes.
The socio-economic development index of the commune continues to record positive results. The growth rate of product value reached 8%; average per capita income reached nearly 81.2 million VND/year; and the multidimensional poverty rate decreased to 3.06%. According to Ho Huu Tai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of An Chau commune, these results are thanks to the locality's focus on mobilizing and effectively utilizing social resources, creating momentum to promote socio-economic development, and simultaneously improving the material and spiritual quality of life for the people.
Transportation infrastructure and urban landscapes are increasingly being invested in, focusing on green, clean, and bright areas, contributing to changing the face of rural areas. Mr. Le Van Tung, residing in Hoa Phu 3 hamlet, happily stated: “Previously, many alleyways were dilapidated, flooding during rainy seasons, making travel very difficult. Now, the roads have been upgraded, becoming spacious, clean, and beautiful, so the people are very happy and feel secure in their work and economic development.”
Ms. Huynh Thi Sen, Secretary of the Hoa Thinh Hamlet Party Branch, shared: “Through a process of learning and researching while working, we have gradually adapted and successfully completed the assigned tasks. All efforts are directed towards the goal of serving the people even better.”
An Chau commune continues to implement its socio-economic development plan in accordance with its actual conditions; at the same time, it focuses on investing in infrastructure construction and improving architecture and landscape towards a green, clean, and bright urban area. Many essential infrastructure items have received investment attention, such as transportation, lighting, water supply, telecommunications, drainage, waste collection and treatment, and urban greenery, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people.
With the achievements made and the determination to innovate in leadership and management, the Party Committee, government, and people of An Chau commune will continue to uphold the tradition of unity and effectively exploit the potential and advantages of the locality. Proactive steps in developing trade, services, investing in infrastructure, and improving the quality of life for the people will be an important driving force for An Chau to break through in the coming time, gradually affirming its role as an important service and economic center of the province.
