The delegation visited and offered incense at the memorial monument of the Rach Gia Provincial Armed Forces Command, paid respects to President Ho Chi Minh, and toured the traditional house displaying images and artifacts from various periods of resistance by the provincial armed forces; they also visited the bomb crater site and the recreated Provincial Armed Forces Command during the resistance period. At each location, the officers and soldiers reviewed the heroic fighting traditions of previous generations in the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism.

Soldier Nguyen Van Thanh, from Battalion 207, shared: “Through the artifacts, documents, and stories about the heroic martyrs, I feel even more proud of the traditions of my homeland and country. This visit has helped me to understand more deeply the responsibilities of a soldier. I will continue to strive to study, train, strictly adhere to discipline, and be determined to successfully complete all assigned tasks, worthy of the sacrifices of previous generations.”
