After the merger, An Khanh commune has an area of 45.09 km2, a population of over 20,000 people living in 38 hamlets; ethnic minorities account for 37.1%. The commune's Party Committee consists of 58 branches and grassroots Party committees with 1,278 Party members. The threefold increase in size places higher demands on leadership and management capacity, especially given the uneven professional qualifications of the staff.
In response to this requirement, the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee adopted the leadership motto "Clear responsibilities, clear tasks, clear timelines, clear outcomes." Each member of the Executive Committee was assigned to oversee a specific area; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee maintained weekly meetings to promptly address emerging issues.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Secretary of the Party Committee of An Khanh commune, shared: Immediately after the merger, the commune's Party Committee determined that it had to act decisively, stay close to the grassroots, and clearly assign responsibilities to each Party committee member in charge of the area.
The systematic approach yielded comprehensive results in 2025. Total budget revenue reached over 236 billion VND, equivalent to 145% of the plan; average income reached 59 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate decreased to 1.61%; and there were no more temporary or dilapidated houses in the area. The Party Committee admitted 52 new members, achieving 108% of the target.
With these results, the An Khánh Commune Party Committee is honored to be one of 17 commune-level units that the Standing Committee of the Thái Nguyên Provincial Party Committee assessed as having excellently completed its tasks in 2025 and awarded a Certificate of Commendation.
The most significant achievement after the merger is the ability to concentrate investment resources, something that was difficult for the three separate communes before. The Commune Public Administrative Service Center is equipped with a comprehensive technological infrastructure and connected to the province's surveillance camera system. To date, the Center has received over 2,180 applications, resolving 100% on time, with the rate of online applications reaching over 82%.
Mr. Duong Tien Dung, Acting Director of the An Khanh Commune Public Administrative Service Center, said: "The workload has increased significantly after the merger, but the staff and civil servants have made efforts to overcome difficulties and promote the application of information technology to ensure that procedures for people and businesses are handled quickly and conveniently."

| Mr. Nguyen Van Chien, from Tan Tien hamlet, An Khanh commune, has developed a model of raising French pigeons in cages on a scale of over 1,000 birds, providing him with a stable income. |
The new scale also helps to ensure that emulation movements are implemented synchronously and spread to every hamlet. In Hamlet 7, more than 100 households have agreed to donate land, completing a 900m long, 7.5m wide road.
Ms. Duong Thi Mai Phuong, Secretary of the Party Branch of Hamlet 7, shared: "Following the directives of the Commune Party Committee, the Party branch has incorporated the road expansion project into its regular meetings, assigned exemplary Party members to take the lead, and persistently persuaded each household. When people understand the long-term benefits, consensus is built very naturally."
In 2026, the commune's Party Committee aims to raise the average per capita income to 63 million VND, striving to achieve the new rural standard for the 2026-2030 period; complete the planning for the commune's central area and the residential area combined with experiential tourism ; and attract investment into the 79-hectare Ha Thuong Industrial Cluster. These are new development opportunities opened up by changes in scale, space, and resources after the merger.
