On this first day, all members of the 27 examination boards strictly adhered to the exam regulations, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility to organize the exam safely and conveniently for the candidates.

Bringing his daughter to the exam center at Nguyen Tat Thanh Specialized High School at 5:30 AM, Mr. Nguyen Van Dieu from Vu Linh commune, Yen Binh district, encouraged her to try her best and stay calm while taking the exam. Mr. Dieu's daughter has had quite good academic results in recent years, winning many high-level awards at the district and provincial levels. However, because this is an important exam, Mr. Dieu's family is also a little worried. Mr. Dieu shared: "I brought my daughter to the exam early, encouraging her to stay calm and try her best to achieve the best results in this exam."

For the first time accompanying her younger sister to the 10th grade entrance exam at Le Quy Don High School in Tran Yen district, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Mai from Quy Mong commune shared the same anxieties as Mr. Dieu. Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Mai said: "I'm very worried about taking my sister to the exam; I just hope she does well and gets into Le Quy Don High School, where I also studied."

Mr. Vuong Van Bang, Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training, inspected the examination supervision work at the examination board of Nguyen Tat Thanh Specialized High School.

According to reporters' observations, on the first day of the exam, invigilation at the examination centers was organized strictly and rigorously. Candidates arrived at the examination centers in cheerful and relaxed spirits. Most candidates had prepared thoroughly regarding the necessary documents and permitted items for the exam room as per regulations. The Department of Education and Training organized inspection teams to check invigilation at all examination sites, ensuring order and discipline during the exams.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh, Chairman of the Examination Council at Nguyen Tat Thanh Specialized High School in Yen Bai City, said: "The school has 597 candidates, 25 examination rooms, and 100% of candidates arrived on time. At the Le Quy Don High School examination council in Tran Yen District, Ms. Duong Thu Thuy, Chairman of the Examination Council, said: "The council has 378 candidates, 16 examination rooms, and the council worked safely and seriously."

At the end of the first day's exam, the candidates left with mixed feelings. According to their assessments, this year's exam questions were entirely within the scope of their preparation, primarily focusing on the 9th grade curriculum. Especially noteworthy was the essay section, which involved analyzing a stanza from the poem "The Hearth" by Bang Viet. Through the recollections and reflections of a grown-up grandchild, the exam evoked touching memories of their grandmother and their bond, while also expressing gratitude and respect for their grandmother, as well as for their family, hometown, and country. Those who had studied thoroughly were confident they would perform well on the exam.

Bui Tuyet Mai, a candidate from Le Quy Don High School in Tran Yen district, shared: "I did quite well on the Literature exam this year because my teachers reviewed a lot of material with me at school. I hope my paper will get a score of 7 or 8." Meanwhile, Trinh The Cuong, a candidate from Nguyen Hue High School in Yen Bai city, said: "I'm sure I'll get a score of 7, because most of the questions in the exam were thoroughly reviewed by our teachers at school."
