The program "The Returning Soldier" is a profound gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh and generations of soldiers who fought for national independence; at the same time, it inspires the new generation of students to live with ideals, responsibility and aspiration to contribute. The special guests of the program are historical witnesses; Lieutenant Vu Dang Toan, Commander of tank number 390, who commanded the entry into the Independence Palace on April 30, 1975; Sergeant Ngo Sy Nguyen, gunner number 1 of tank number 390; Sergeant Nguyen Van Tap, driver of tank number 390.
Dr. Nguyen Tien Luan, Principal of Nguyen Trai University, shared: “Today's youth need to continue the spirit of "Determined to die for the Fatherland" - living beautifully, living with dedication, living responsibly to build a strong and prosperous Vietnam. Peace is the result of great sacrifices, and our mission is to preserve and develop it with knowledge, action and a patriotic heart."
