[Image] The special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Cuba

Over the past 65 years, overcoming countless difficulties and challenges amidst the flames of revolutionary struggle, the rare, special, loyal, and pure friendship between Vietnam and Cuba has been continuously strengthened and developed, contributing to enhancing peace, stability, cooperation, and development in both regions and the world.

In September 1973, Cuban leader Fidel Castro became the first foreign head of state to visit the liberated zone of South Vietnam in Quang Tri .
