The Victory Cup is an annual award honoring coaches, athletes, experts, and teams who have contributed to Vietnamese sports and achieved high results in 2024. The award is organized by Vietcontent in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Physical Education. Swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien has previously won many major awards in Vietnamese sports.

This year, she appeared as a guest, presenting the Athlete of the Year award to shooter Trinh Thu Vinh. Upon her appearance, Anh Vien received enthusiastic applause from the audience at the Gala. Historically, Anh Vien has dominated the Southeast Asian swimming scene at the SEA Games and is especially beloved by the public.

Shooter Trinh Thu Vinh is one of the rare Vietnamese athletes to perform well at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She shared that the award is a great motivation for her to continue striving and contributing to sports. The Male Athlete of the Year award went to Tran Quyet Chien.

The Gala Dinner for the Victory Cup was unexpectedly graced by the appearance of Coach Kim Sang-sik. Standing alongside him on the awards podium was shooting expert Park Chung-gun, who has made significant contributions to Vietnamese shooting. He was awarded the Foreign Expert of the Year award, a well-deserved recognition for his years of dedication to the sport.

The award for Most Popular Athlete of the Year went to weightlifter Le Van Cong. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Le Van Cong won a bronze medal.

The award for winning the trophy affirms its value to Vietnamese sports, as the selection committee consists of reputable experts and journalists with a deep understanding of sports. Pictured is the Team of the Year award, given to the women's volleyball team for winning the AVC Challenger Cup at the continental level, finishing third at the FIVB Challenger Cup at the world level, and securing a spot in the 2025 World Championship.
