Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc acknowledged: "Not only is Antesco one of the leading fruit and vegetable production, trading, and export enterprises in Vietnam, but it is also a model enterprise in building a modern, efficient, and sustainable value chain production linkage model." Antesco links product consumption with farmers, covering a 9,000-hectare raw material area that meets GlobalGAP and VietGAP standards, with an annual agricultural product purchase volume of over 70,000 tons. By 2025, this will increase to 12,000 hectares of guaranteed raw material area, with a production volume of 85,000 tons; creating stable jobs for more than 2,000 workers at the factory and approximately 7,000 workers in the agricultural ecosystem. The B'Laofood factory provides jobs for over 300 ethnic minority workers.

Antesco's General Director, Nguyen Hoang Minh, shared that 50 years ago, in the fertile land of An Giang, Antesco began its journey of dedication to agriculture , persistently cultivating a green aspiration. From vast fields of fruits and vegetables, containers of Vietnamese agricultural products have reached the world, carrying with them the spirit of innovation, creativity, and love for their homeland of the people of An Giang. In 1975, when the country had just been unified, amidst countless difficulties, the An Giang Agricultural Materials Company, the predecessor of Antesco, was established.

In 1986, responding to the country's reform movement, three agricultural units in the province merged to form An Giang Agricultural Technical Services Company - Antesco. “At that time, we only had one dream: to get our local agricultural products to reach further markets, so the world would know the sweet taste of the Mekong Delta. Just two years later, the company was granted a license for direct import and export. Antesco began its journey to bring the flavors of Mekong Delta agricultural products to all corners of the world,” Mr. Minh said.

Bringing agricultural products to the global market.

In 1995, Antesco exported its first shipment to Europe, opening a new path for An Giang's agricultural products. Expanding its raw material area, in 1999, Antesco built the My An factory, investing in equipment from the United States and Denmark. With this breakthrough, in 2004, Antesco exported over 5,000 tons for the first time, achieving a turnover of 4 million USD, a historical milestone marking its development.

In 2011, Antesco was privatized, ushering in a period of stronger development. In 2015, Antesco continued to invest $7 million to build its third factory – the Binh Long factory, which meets international standards and is equipped with the most modern equipment and production lines imported from Europe, with a capacity of 12,000 tons per year.

By 2022, the company invested $10 million in automating its production lines and expanding the My An factory, increasing its total finished product production capacity to 45,000 tons per year, becoming a leading producer in Vietnam in terms of production capacity. In 2023, the company invested over $10 million in the B'LaoFood factory in Lam Dong, specializing in processing fruit for export.

Reaching its highest milestone in history, in 2024, Antesco recorded net revenue of VND 1,400 billion, contributing USD 56 million to export turnover. In the first nine months of 2025, revenue reached VND 1,450 billion, a 45% increase compared to the same period; profit exceeded VND 100 billion, a 75% increase compared to the same period; and exports reached USD 78 million. Currently, Antesco's products are present in more than 40 countries, including 22% market share in North America, 42% in Europe, and 36% in Asia and Australia. Key export products include baby corn, vegetable soybeans, dragon fruit, and mangoes. “For 50 years, Antesco has grown alongside the nation, with determination in every aspiration, effort in every action, and steadfastness in every step forward, achieving many brilliant successes,” expressed Nguyen Huu Khanh, former Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee (formerly).

Over 50 years of development, Antesco has consistently maintained its position as one of Vietnam's leading food processing and fruit and vegetable export enterprises. Ranked number one globally in the export of baby corn and vegetable soybeans, it has sustained a growth rate of over 30% for four consecutive years. Thanks to these efforts, in 2009 Antesco was honored with the Third-Class Labor Medal by the President of Vietnam; and in 2025, it was honored with the Second-Class Labor Medal by the President of Vietnam for its outstanding achievements in production and business, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.

Ho Van Mung, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged: “Over 50 years of formation and development, Antesco has made many important contributions to the socio-economic development of the province, especially in the agricultural sector, through linking the formation of cultivation areas, marketing agricultural products for farmers, and creating jobs for workers. In particular, it has contributed to promoting and exporting the province's agricultural products to the world market, increasing the province's annual export turnover.”
