“I feel very happy,” Antony said in an interview with DAZN on April 2. “I found myself again, which is very important. Every day that passes, I realize this is the best decision I have ever made.”
Antony also added that living in Seville reminds him of his home country Brazil with its sunshine, similar cuisine and warmth of the people.
Since joining Betis at the end of January, Antony has scored four goals and provided four assists in 12 games in all competitions. Betis are competing in two competitions, including the UEFA Conference League and the race for a place in the Champions League for next season.
Before Antony joined, Betis were 10th in La Liga. Now, Manuel Pellegrini's team has climbed to 6th, just 6 points off the top 4. The team has just gone through a series of 6 consecutive wins, including a 2-1 victory in the derby against Sevilla.

Betis do not have the option to buy Antony as part of their loan deal with United. But Antony admitted that if given the chance, he would be happy to stay and contribute to the La Liga club. The Brazilian striker shared: "I am grateful to United for everything. I went through difficult moments there, but also have good memories."
