Inspired by snowy mountain journeys, combining music and painting – classical lacquer paintings – Huulala brings a collection where ancient beauty is retold in modern language, and becomes fashion.
"I have always done fashion with a simple, honest spirit - which is my nature - every time I touch the fabric, design the costumes, run my hands over the hand-embroidered works, close my eyes, like a piece of music, the poems whisper stories in the wind on the high mountains", said designer Hue Huu.
Inspired by classic lacquer works and traditional hand embroidery, the designs feature soft shapes, minimalist lines but imbued with poetry. The collection is an invitation to admire the beauty of the world through a contemporary lens – clear, elegant and full of artistic spirit.
To have a perfect debut was a journey of careful preparation over the past few days. From fitting, lighting testing, sound preparation, team arrangement, makeup, rehearsal... to the smallest details.
The models participating follow the spirit of Huulala: no stereotypes about age or appearance, just bring with them purity and love for fashion.
