
The event was attended by representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City; leaders of Brigade 171, Squadron 129, Border Guard Squadron 18, along with many soldiers and local people. The performance is a meaningful activity within the program "Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days".

With more than 150 artists and actors participating, the program was elaborately staged in three parts: "River of Memories", "Love Song on the Waves" and "Fatherland Seen from the Sea".
Each part is a flow of emotions, from nostalgia for the river of memories, pride in the sea and sky of the Fatherland and the aspiration to reach out to the world of the city named after Uncle Ho.

The audience enjoyed performances such as: "River of Memories" (Vu Thang Loi), "Where the Rivers Convergence" (People's Artist Thanh Ngan), "Song of 50 Years of Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts", with the participation of artists Phuong Thanh, Duong Quoc Hung, Quoc Dai, MTV group, Lac Viet, Mai Trang...

Speaking at the program, Mr. Do Phuoc Trung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the program is not only an activity to introduce the city's literary and artistic achievements over the past 50 years, but also a deep gratitude to generations of artists who have tirelessly contributed, preserved and lit the flame of Ho Chi Minh City's literature and art over the past half century.
