According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 a.m. on May 31, the center of the tropical depression was located in the area north of the Hoang Sa archipelago. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 6-7, gusting to level 9.

At 1:00 a.m. on May 31, the center of the tropical depression was at about 18.2 degrees north latitude; 112.0 degrees east longitude, in the area north of the Hoang Sa archipelago. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 6 - 7 (39 - 61 km/h), gusting to level 9; the tropical depression moved north at a speed of about 5 km/h.

At 1:00 a.m. on June 1, the center of the tropical depression was at about 21.6 degrees north latitude; 112.4 degrees east longitude, on the coast of Guangdong province (China). The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 8, gusting to level 10; the tropical depression moved north at a speed of about 15 - 20 km/h and was likely to strengthen into a storm.

At 1:00 a.m. on June 2, the center of the tropical depression was at about 24.5 degrees north latitude; 115.1 degrees east longitude, on the mainland south of Guangdong province (China). The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression decreased to below level 6, gusting to level 8; the tropical depression moved in a north-northeast direction at a speed of about 15 km/h and gradually weakened into a low pressure area.

From the next 48 to 72 hours, the low pressure area moves in a northeast direction, about 20km per hour, weakens and gradually dissipates.

Due to the influence of the tropical depression, the western sea area of ​​the North East Sea (including the sea area of ​​Hoang Sa archipelago) will have showers and thunderstorms, strong winds of level 6 - 7, then increasing to level 8, gusting to level 10; rough seas; waves 2.5 - 3.5m high.

In the East of the northern and central East Sea, the sea area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan has strong southwest wind level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8; waves 2 - 3m high; rough sea.
