Ho Chi Minh City police have discovered many accounts performing offensive challenges that go against public morals on social networks.
Most recently, Ho Chi Minh City Police urgently arrested two people who created content on the TikTok platform, Luong Cong Thuan (born in 1998, owner of the account "Thuan Khung Bao Doi") and Le Van Nham (born in 1992, owner of the account "Minh Bao Doi Yeu Em") for the act of "Disturbing public order".
Through investigation, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department determined that due to needing money to spend, Thuan and Nham had repeatedly discussed and organized the staging of offensive situations that violated the law.
Notably, these subjects announced on their TikTok accounts that if viewers wanted them to perform "challenges" or offensive situations, they would have to pay. Specifically, each time they performed, they could collect from 3 to 5 million VND.
These contents are not only vulgar and violent, but also cause a segment of young people to have a distorted perception, considering other people's pain as a joke.
Master of Psychology Nguyen Hai An said these harmful clips have a negative impact on the brain, especially in children and teenagers. This can be a direct or indirect factor leading to violent behavior.
