VnExpressVnExpress12/06/2023

Dong Beach, Cai Chien Island, Hai Ninh Beach are places you can go on vacation this summer, with beautiful beaches and not crowded.

These beaches are all located in famous tourist provinces in the North or North Central, but are not crowded, have beautiful beaches, delicious food, and reasonable prices. These places are all convenient to combine with many other attractions, and can be self-driven from Hanoi.

Dong Beach, Thanh Hoa

Bai Dong is located in Tinh Gia district, about 40 km southeast of Thanh Hoa city. The sea here is quite calm and clean, suitable for swimming and participating in water activities. Bai Dong has a long coastline, surrounded by high mountains, rocky cliffs, peaceful scenery, not as crowded as Sam Son or Hai Tien beaches, so it is suitable for tourists who like quietness.

This is a suitable place for overnight camping and watching the sunrise. There are also many restaurants in Bai Dong, especially around Nghi Son port. A seafood meal here costs about 200,000-300,000 VND per person.

Accommodations include: Nghi Son Eco Island, Dao Ngoc Hotel, Bella Hotel Nghi Son, Giang Son Hotel, Nghi Son Hotel.

Cai Chien Island, Quang Ninh

Cai Chien Island is located in Hai Ha District, Quang Ninh Province, about 35 km from Mong Cai City. To get to Cai Chien Island, visitors must go to Ghenh Vo Port to buy ferry tickets. There are 3 ferry trips every day from the mainland to the island commune and vice versa, the travel time is about 40 minutes, the ticket for one person is 30,000 VND. There are also canoes here, but visitors must contact the local tour guide in advance because this means of transport is not fixed. The best way to get around the island is to rent an electric car, motorbike or bicycle.

Cai Chien Island is still a fairly wild island but has full electricity and internet. The long, smooth sandy beach and the primeval forest area of about 500 hectares are home to many species of birds and wild animals. The island has three beaches including Van Ca, Cai Chien and Dau Rong. There are no large markets or restaurants on the island. Visitors should order food at homestays.

Accommodation: Phi Vung Homestay, Hong Ha Homestay, Bao Phong Guesthouse, coastal container house area. In addition, visitors can rent tents to sleep overnight.

Hai Ninh Beach, Quang Binh

Hai Ninh Beach, Quang Ninh District, located about 15 km from Dong Hoi City, is one of the beautiful and pristine beaches in Quang Binh. From Dong Hoi, visitors can reach Hai Ninh by the coastal road or along National Highway 1A and then take the Dong Hoi City bypass. Following this route, you will see the Quang Binh wind power field.

The beach here has fine sand, gentle slopes, clear blue water, not yet explored by many people other than locals, but still has enough accommodation and mid-range food services. Seafood in Hai Ninh is fresh and cheaper than the general level. There are also many factories producing chewy sweet potatoes, one of the local specialties.

Accommodation: There are not many options. Tourists can refer to Quynh Lan Guesthouse. In addition, the beach is quite close to Dong Hoi City, so if tourists come to Hai Ninh for the day, they can stay in Dong Hoi City.
