At 5:30 AM, a reporter from the People's Representatives Newspaper arrived at Rao Tre village, Phuc Trach commune, one of the most remote and difficult villages in Ha Tinh province, to record the atmosphere of election day. Rao Tre village has 46 households with 90 voters participating in the election. Due to difficult conditions, the voters were transported by car by officers and soldiers of the Rao Tre Border Guard Task Force (Ban Giang Border Guard Post) and the Phuc Trach commune government to polling station No. 11 in Hamlet 1 of Phuc Trach commune, about 2km away. By nearly 7:00 AM, all 90 voters of Rao Tre village had arrived at the polling station.

Holding their ballots in their hands, dressed in traditional attire, the Chứt ethnic people here enthusiastically and joyfully participate in the National Day celebration, exercising their sacred right and duty by choosing outstanding representatives who possess sufficient virtue and talent, worthy of representing the will and aspirations of the people.

Major Doan Van Tiep, Head of the Border Guard Task Force in Rao Tre village (Ban Giang Border Guard Post), said that to help villagers arrive on time at the polling station, the unit used vehicles to transport them to the polling station, ensuring absolute safety. After the villagers finished voting, we continued to take them back to the village to continue their work and production. "Thanks to regular and continuous propaganda, the villagers understood their rights and obligations as well as the significance of election day, so they participated in large numbers," Major Doan Van Tiep said.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Nha, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Phuc Trach commune, said that thanks to effective propaganda work regarding election day, all people and voters have clearly understood their rights and obligations as well as the significance of election day.
“This morning, voters throughout the commune were present at polling stations to cast their ballots. The election atmosphere in the area was very solemn. At all polling stations, safety and order were ensured so that the election proceeded on schedule and in accordance with the law,” said Mr. Hoang Quoc Nha.

According to the Secretary of the Party Committee of Phuc Trach commune, in addition to concentrated propaganda sessions, the commune has sent officials to coordinate with the Border Guard, the Elderly Association, and the Veterans Association to visit each family to disseminate information, explain, and guide them on election procedures. This has helped the people understand their rights and responsibilities as voters; the voting process and principles; and to promptly answer any questions that arise.
In addition, to facilitate people's participation in the election, the local authorities have also developed a specific plan for election day.
“The local authorities arranged transportation and allocated a portion of the donated funds to provide breakfast for the villagers before they went to vote. Security, medical services, and logistics at the polling station in the village have been thoroughly checked to ensure that today's election takes place safely and legally,” Mr. Hoang Quoc Nha informed.
Hoang Quoc Nha, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Phuc Trach commune, also provided a quick update, stating that this morning, approximately 80% of voters throughout the commune had gone to the polling stations, with 100% of voters in Rao Tre village.
