Three cars collided, one person died

Ha Tinh: Three 5-7 seater cars collided on Highway 12C, killing a female passenger in a taxi and injuring 4 others on the afternoon of July 26.

At around 2 p.m., a 5-seat taxi carrying passenger Le Thi Huyen, 31, was traveling on Highway 12C from Ky Thinh Ward to Vung Ang Port, Ky Anh Town. When arriving at Tay Yen Residential Group, Ky Thinh Ward, the taxi hit two 5-7 seater cars traveling in the opposite direction.

The accident resulted in Ms. Huyen’s death. Four other people in the three cars were seriously injured and were taken to Ky Anh General Hospital for emergency treatment.

At the scene, the front of the taxi was deformed, the two left doors were blown off. The sides were dented, the glass was broken, the front wheel was thrown off the car. The remaining 5-seater car was badly damaged. Debris from the three vehicles was scattered, oil stains were scattered on the road.

Ky Anh town police sent officers to direct traffic and dispatched rescue vehicles to move the vehicles involved in the accident. By 6 p.m., the scene was cleared.
