The district has received and processed 61 petitions (59 complaints and 2 denunciations), an increase of 13.2% over the same period in 2023; 59 complaints and 2 denunciations were accepted and resolved; 38 complaints were due for resolution, 37/38 petitions were resolved, reaching 97%...
The complaints mainly focus on the issue of compensation, support and resettlement when the State reclaims land to implement projects in the district such as: Road 997, My Xuan - Ngai Giao - Hoa Binh road and Chau Duc Urban Industrial Park.
The TC application mainly focuses on the management and operation of school principals in the area.
According to Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee Nguyen Tan Ban, the direction, leadership and organization of the implementation of the task of resolving complaints and denunciations of Chau Duc District People's Committee has been increasingly focused and determined. Many policies and positive measures have been proposed and implemented to improve the effectiveness of resolving complaints and denunciations in 16 communes and towns.
In addition, the District People's Committee also focuses on directing communes and towns to enhance their management role in local state management areas such as land, finance, basic construction investment, and effectively implement social policies within the scope of local management, contributing to limiting the emergence of new KNTC.
It is forecasted that in the coming time, the situation of complaints and denunciations will still be mainly concentrated in the field of land, compensation and site clearance for socio -economic development projects. Large and complicated complaints will arise in places where land acquisition and site clearance are not well done; and where due attention is not paid to the work of mobilizing, persuading and resolving citizens' complaints and denunciations...
Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee Nguyen Tan Ban said: "In the coming time, the district will continue to handle newly received complaints and denunciations according to regulations; at the same time, disseminate and thoroughly educate civil servants, especially civil servants working in receiving people and handling complaints and denunciations, about their sense of responsibility, working style and attitude towards the people, knowing how to listen, not showing impatience when receiving people to receive feedback and opinions to facilitate the implementation of complaint and denunciation settlement work".
