On the afternoon of June 29 in Ho Chi Minh City, CT Group Corporation organized the launch of Vietnamese IoT chip design, comprehensively designed by the Group's engineers with CMOS and III/V Semi semiconductor chip design technology.

This is an important result of the group after 6 months of implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

CT Group's chip design is called CTDA200M, which is a 12-bit, 20 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC).

Chips are used for medical devices and imaging; sensors, automation systems, IoT, UAVs; wireless communications…

Mr. Tran Kim Chung, Chairman of CT Group, said the Group is proud of the first chip design developed by 100% Vietnamese engineers.

ADC chips are often used in the defense and security sectors and are important chips in digital transformation. This type of chip usually takes 2 years to design, but the group's engineers worked hard and completed it in 6 months, thanks to the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW.

Currently, CT Group is deploying chip design houses, focusing on researching and designing AI, IoT and specialized chips for applications in many fields such as UAV, defense, 5G/6G, AI, sensors and IoT...; developing IP cores and functional modules used in SoC design, being autonomous in chip design...

According to the Chairman of CT Group, CT Group has the capacity to design complex chip lines using modern 2nm CMOS technology. The Group also aims to master semiconductor chip photolithography technology; at the same time, it has built a chip assembly, packaging and testing factory, gradually mastering the entire process from design-photolithography-assembly-packaging-testing of semiconductor chips.

Congratulating CT Group, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc said that the launch of the ADC chip design, a high-tech product designed by Vietnamese engineers, marks an important step forward in the journey to master core technology, affirming the creativity and spirit of the Vietnamese people in the digital age.

The group's strategic steps, from packaging, testing, designing AI, IoT, UAV chips... are clear evidence of promoting the endogenous resources of Vietnamese enterprises.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, the city's leaders will always accompany, support and create favorable conditions for CT Group and the technology business community to continue to develop, innovate and reach international standards./.
