Over the past two days, heavy rains and thunderstorms have continuously occurred in Luong Son town and Song Luy commune, Bac Binh district, causing roofs to be blown off and landslides to people's production land. The estimated damage is about 80 million VND.
Accordingly, from the afternoon of June 25 to 26, in Luong Son town and Song Luy commune, there was heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms. The consequences were the roof of a house in Tu Son village, Song Luy commune was blown off and agricultural land of 2 households in Luong Binh quarter, Luong Son town was eroded with a length of 100 m, width of 10 m, depth of 1 m.
After the natural disaster, the District People's Committee directed relevant departments and offices to coordinate with the affected localities to mobilize forces to overcome the consequences, helping people to stabilize their lives soon. Currently, the local authorities are conducting inspections, assessments, determining the extent of damage, preparing documents, and submitting them to the District People's Committee for support according to regulations. On the other hand, they are guiding people whose land has been eroded to repair and renovate their fields and treat drainage ditches to limit damage caused by floods in the following days.
It is known that at the above time, the rainfall measured at Phan Lam Station was 130.9mm; Song Mao 27.7mm; Song Luy 41.8mm; Hoa Thang 28.4mm.
At the same time, heavy rain also occurred in Tanh Linh and Duc Linh districts, causing severe landslides on rural roads.
