Bajaj Freedom 125, "super fuel-efficient" motorbike priced at 27 million
The Bajaj Freedom 125 is the first motorcycle to run on compressed natural gas, combined with a 2-liter fuel tank, for a range of up to 300 km per charge.

The new Bajaj Freedom 125 2025 is a motorcycle manufactured in the Indian market. This is also the world's first compressed natural gas (CNG) motorcycle that has just been launched at a fairly "soft" price. The Bajaj Freedom 125 2025 motorcycle in India has 3 different versions but the only difference in equipment is: drum brake, drum brake with LED lights, and disc brake with LED lights.
The vehicle design is neat, but the saddle size is impressive with a length of up to 785 mm, providing both comfortable space for the rider and also a design for compressed air tanks. The top-end variant of the car gets a Bluetooth-integrated LCD instrument cluster, while the lower variants get a basic LCD cluster. The high-end version has a front disc brake, while the suspension system on all variants includes front telescopic forks (with bushing protection) and a rear monoshock.
Freedom 125 uses a 125 cc single-cylinder engine, giving a maximum capacity of 9.4 horsepower and torque of 9.7 Nm, with a 5-speed gearbox. Other equipment includes 30mm telescopic front shock absorbers and 120mm single-spring rear shock absorbers. The vehicle uses cast rims with 17-inch front rims and 16-inch rear wheels. The vehicle is equipped with a 2 kg CNG tank, along with a 2 liter auxiliary fuel tank, providing a total operating distance of up to 330 km. This is an alternative solution to gasoline and oil for motorbikes, aiming towards the process of adapting to EV electric vehicles.
The Bajaj Freedom 125 was first launched in July 2024. In the Indian market, this vehicle line has a listed price ranging from only INR 90,272 to INR 1.10 lakh (VND 27.4-33.4 million). Video : Introducing Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorbike.
