Tuong stage in the heart of nightlife: Quietly immersed in ancient rhythms
The ENTROPY creative space (15 Dao Duy Tu, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi ), familiar to young people who love experimental art, is where the classical play On Dinh chops Ta takes place. This is part of the Ai Long Dia art series performed by the ENTROPY creative group in collaboration with the Vietnam Tuong Theater, with the desire to bring traditional art closer to young people.
DJ Felix (Nguyen Quoc Huy) is a familiar face at music festivals, mixing modern techno beats with traditional beats to create a unique sound background for the Tuong stage.
"Tuong is not material to be remade. For us, tuong is the center," Ms. Tran Khanh Linh (Linh Luay), representative of ENTROPY shared and added: "Music, light and space are just ways to open up emotions, helping today's audience truly 'hear' the voice of heritage."
Unlike traditional theater, at ENTROPY, the audience does not need to sit in a row to feel the play. They stand close to the artists, in the flickering light and electronic music slowly retreating to make room for each voice, step, and posture of traditional art. The atmosphere becomes solemnly quiet, even without stage curtains or play name boards.
The performance space is also carefully designed, combining contemporary and traditional elements.

Meritorious Artist Hai Van - who plays the main role in the excerpt - expressed his emotions: "I never thought that one day Tuong could 'live' in a space like this. But young audiences are not only familiar with it, but also welcome it with genuine excitement and respect."
When young people rewrite the journey of heritage
The performance space is also carefully designed, combining contemporary and traditional elements. The lifestyle brand FIRERS has worked with the creative team ENTROPY to create artistic details in every object, light, and decoration material, turning the entire auditorium into a true "cultural complex". Even simple objects such as lighters become symbols, evoking a rebellious spirit while still maintaining respect for the origin.
Many young audiences jokingly call this "going out and seeing a play", a form of cultural approach that is both new and familiar. This way of speaking is simple but reflects the true spirit of the event, traditional art is gradually entering the lives of young people not through textbooks or galleries, but through what they love - music, theater, and personal space.
With the Ai Long Dia series of activities , the ENTROPY group has been opening a new direction for heritage to be recreated with the creative language of the times. Tuong is not distorted or decorated to become "trendy" but retains its full identity, just standing in a different context, where young audiences actively step forward, feel and live with every detail.
