Attending the program were Mr. Khuong Le Thanh and Mr. Hang Anh Minh - Members of the Board of Directors of BSR , Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung - Chairman of the BSR Trade Union, representatives of the Board of Directors, mass organizations, professional departments, and many employees and typical families at BSR. The program's speaker was Dr. Phan Trung Phuong - a social psychologist who has many years of research and consultation on marriage and family issues in the context of modern society.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung - Chairman of BSR Trade Union said: “Family is the foundation for each individual to develop, and at the same time is the spiritual support that helps workers feel secure in their dedication. In the digital age, when the hustle and bustle of life can obscure traditional values, preserving love and family ties becomes even more important. Through practical programs like this, BSR Trade Union hopes to spread positive values, contributing to cultivating corporate culture associated with family culture.”
BSR Board of Directors member Khuong Le Thanh also shared his views on the importance of a happy family in building a strong internal force for the enterprise. He hoped that the discussion would bring many useful values, contributing to nurturing happiness and solidarity in each family of BSR employees: "Creating and maintaining family happiness is not only the responsibility of each person but also a value that BSR always accompanies and supports".
During the seminar, Dr. Phan Trung Phuong brought many new perspectives and shared profound contents about how to maintain love in the family; the core elements that create connections between generations; practical solutions to improve family relationships; as well as principles of building family culture in the context of an increasingly digital society. He especially emphasized the role of "gratitude" in all relationships - from husband and wife, parents, children to colleagues - as a foundation for building lasting bonds; gratitude and empathy - as the glue that binds family members.
“Family is a living entity, not a place. And for that entity to be able to “live” healthily, we need to take care of it with sincerity, listening, forgiveness and sharing. When each person realizes that, no matter how successful they are in society, a sympathetic look from their loved ones is still the most precious thing, then happiness will last long,” Dr. Phan Trung Phuong shared.
The speaker also cleverly illustrated with the image of an “emotional magnetic field”: “When each member focuses on good and positive things, the family will create a warm magnetic field, nurturing long-term peace. On the contrary, if only seeing the shortcomings, negative energy will gradually cause relationships to crack.” The speaker also presented many real-life situations and suggested solutions to help couples, parents and children understand and accompany each other more effectively in the digital age.
Mr. Tran Minh Anh - Specialist of BSR Human Resources Management and Development Department shared: "Busy work sometimes makes me neglect the simple things in the family. This program reminds me to appreciate the small moments with my wife and children more, and most importantly, learn to listen."
Ms. Tran Thi Hong - a family member of a BSR employee said: "The program is really meaningful and close. The sharing of the speaker not only helps me look back at my own family but also suggests many ways to understand, connect and accompany the members in a more positive way."
The program to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day is one of many annual activities that demonstrate the concern of BSR Trade Union for the spiritual life of workers. Thereby, contributing to spreading the message about the role of family in the sustainable development of society and enterprises.
