According to the latest update on Forbes (as of the morning of June 27, Vietnam time), Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Masan Group, has returned to the list of world billionaires with assets of 1.1 billion USD. The assets of Masan Chairman have increased by 40 million USD in the past 24 hours. With this asset, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang is ranked 2,950th in the world.
Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang's assets increased again due to the great impact of stock prices on the stock market. At the end of the session on June 26, Masan's MSN shares increased by 2.4% and were the leading stock in the group protecting the VN-Index. Since the correction to nearly 50,000 VND/unit in early April, MSN shares have increased by nearly 50%.
Currently, MSN price is temporarily at 72,000 VND/unit, the highest in the past half year. Masan's market capitalization also increased sharply to over 100,000 billion VND (equivalent to 4 billion USD).

Masan Chairman Nguyen Dang Quang first appeared on Forbes’ list of billionaires in 2018. Since then, his assets have fluctuated between $1 and $1.9 billion. The highest figure of $1.9 billion was recorded by Forbes in 2022.
In 2024, the owner of Masan Group continuously left the rankings and returned to the Forbes list due to fluctuations in MSN shares.
In addition to Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, Vietnam has four other USD billionaires including Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong (10.4 billion USD), Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao (2.5 billion USD), Mr. Ho Hung Anh (2.3 billion USD) and Mr. Tran Dinh Long (1.9 billion USD).
