The project "Applying telemedicine to enhance access to healthcare services for vulnerable groups in Vietnam" is funded by a non-refundable grant from the Korean Government through the Korea International Healthcare Organization (KOFIH) and is directly managed and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
During the training course, participants were introduced to the legal framework and system for telemedicine; introduced to the project "Applying telemedicine to enhance access to healthcare services for vulnerable groups in Vietnam"; and guided on using commonly used features of the "Doctor for Every Home" software on computers and mobile devices, such as scheduling and processing appointments, diagnosis, prescriptions, consultations, online meetings, and user management features.

Against the backdrop of accelerating digital transformation in the healthcare sector, this training course aims to enhance the capacity of the grassroots healthcare system. This will enable people in remote and rural areas of the province to access early, high-quality healthcare services with the expertise of higher-level hospitals without having to travel long distances, saving time and money. In turn, it contributes to reducing the burden on higher-level hospitals and improving healthcare for the people.
